More on par with cars you spot in Nebraska than your other post.

I like symmetry as much as the next guy, but flipping those decals is too much.

I can kind of see what the owner is going for, especially the front. That long nose, wide fender IMSA kind of look. On this gen ‘Stang it might look pretty rad if you could pull it off. But that’s the kicker, the thing devolves into a hot mess towards the back half of the car.
It gets a 10 for the idea but a -6 for the execution, bringing the average score to a 2. And I’m being generous.

Haha, and they want people to know about it given the state of this Mustang?

Out of all of the Mustangs, the V6 SN-95/New Edge takes the most abuse from people who love to just make them gaudy wanna be F&F racers....
I challenge anyone to find me a 4th gen V6 Camaro this bad.

Close, but that’s clean. Needs a few years of neglect and a few unpainted bits.

It’s people like this that made me question whether I really wanted to get another Mustang after my 66 was crunched. I did, and I love driving it, but this crap still makes me embarrassed to own one sometimes.

It bothers me when people put aftermarket wheels on their car and all they think about is diameter and bolt pattern. The backspacing on this thing is killing me.

If you are going to get fender flares and not fill them out with wider tires or a more agressive offset at least get some goddamn spacers

I can’t stop staring at the unfilled wheel wells. Why put those flares on if you aren’t going to fill them out?!

Interestingly, the #1 thing people have taken issue with this of the many, many things on this monstrosity is that the wheels are set too far inside the goofy fenders.

I actually know this guy, and used to work with him for a few years. And I always gave him shit about his riced-out V6 ‘stang.
He’s a totally awesome dude, though. We still keep in touch through Facebook.
I also made his car on Forza 3, though it was an actual GT4 version with some muscle behind it.

That’s awesome, actually.
I have to ask, is there anything ironic about the car? Or does he take it completely seriously?

Oh he’s serious about it. He just unfortunately has... “questionable” taste.

WhenI took it, I thought for sure that the only explanation for the car was that somebody was dong it with a sense of humor (hence the rate my ride website)/

TBH, I’ve never actually visited that site despite having known about those links for a while. So maybe he
is
being ironic about it, but I don’t know. I never directly asked him about it, and was on far more of a Mustang craze several years ago, so I guess gave him a bit of a pass.
